150

The 150th was officially launched on Friday 19th March by the Lord Provost of Paisley,
Celia Lawson. Look out for the coverage in the Paisley Daily Express.
The 150th Dinner has now been confirmed for Saturday 6th November in Johnstone
Town Hall. The evening will start with a civic reception, followed by a 4 course dinner.
Entertainment will be in the form of a ceilidh and disco and negotiations are at an
advanced stage with a high profile speaker. Tickets will go on sale shortly for this event.
A temporary legacy board is now up in the clubhouse at Whitehaugh. Please add your
name if you are willing to support us with our quest for 150 people to donate £50.

Presidents Remark

I would like to thank Edna Cruickshank for opening up the Club and helping to
entertain Provost Celia Lawson and guests with tea, coffee and delicious home baking at the
150 Launch. Together with Honorary President Ronnie Spence and Jean and Crawford
Fergusson, the Provost and ex Kelburne player and current Scottish Internationalist Majid Haq
were made most welcome at the Club. In fact the Provost stayed for over an hour such was the
hospitality and her interest in the Club.
